Master Gardener Program

Bradley County Extension Master Gardeners are trained volunteers that help our County Extension Service share the latest and greatest gardening information! All volunteers are trained with 40 hours of horticultural classes and return 40 hours of volunteer community service through our Extension office.

Our training starts at the end of January and ends 13 weeks later in April. The class takes place twice a week (once virtual and once in-person) and includes an information-packed binder that goes in-depth on each topic discussed. Some of our presentations cover botany, beekeeping, vegetable gardening, and wildlife! If you have a love for plants or you’re a newcomer to gardening then please contact Evangelon James at ej@utk.edu or call 423-728-7001!

We look forward to hearing from you!
